Spring Revisited

The spring shows of last September are a distant memory.  With spring now upon us and the actual clothes or versions of them hitting the streets, I thought it would be fun to revisit the runway to decipher what looks most relevant now.  I’ve broken it down into what I feel are important recurring themes and what I personally crave for my own wardrobe.  I hope this helps you to clarify your own clothing conundrums.

  1. Such a sharp, smart selection. I had almost forgotten how great some of the clothes were under the avalanche of mindless buzz and the overwhelming number of derivative collections. Women today need an interpreter/ tour guide to find their way to the needles in the mountains of hay bales. You make a convincing argument for the position. Looking at this from over here in Qatar, it makes me homesick for some good old fashioned fashion!
